Journaling my Journey

This blog features my own journal entries since I was a child.

Why do you coach?

20241104

Good morning, why do you coach, Patti?

I started coaching myself long ago, as I can now see from my journalling from when I was a senior in high school.

When I actually hired a coach, I began to see what strides I could take and just how the process of having another human to talk to that isn’t a friend’s conversation—but someone that allows me to process through things I otherwise don’t process alone  or with friends, or even my very best partner.

There is something different about a relationship with a life coach—something more like writing in a journal where you are completely free and honest with yourself. Get that? Honest with your own self because there is no judgement,. Things I brought up to talk about were not big, life changing things—they were ordinary everyday problems with procrastination, daily frustrations that seem to reoccur on a far too frequent basis. Those daily episodes that lead to l lifetime of being stuck not achieving the greatness I was born to achieve!

We are all born on this planet for a purpose. Are you fulfilling yours? Are you satisfied with what you are doing here? For me that has been the most important thing to find out. That’s why I have a coach and why I coach.
